Problem removing /public/index.php
I'm trying to update a project to Fuel 1.6.1. I've begun the process from scratch, trying to setup an clean environment and then add my modules / packages.
I've a problem removing the string "
" from the url, so my site is something like this:
If I open an internale link like these:
but what I would like to obtain is something like
Is it possible to obtain these only with .htaccess and / or fuel configurations?
Thank you very much!
The default installation requires your webserver docroot to point to the public directory.
The issue here is that you've installed FuelPHP inside the docroot, which makes /public part of the path.
gives some tips on how to change the configuration to run inside the docroot.
Thanks Harro, the tips wordes fine, now I have an URL without "index.php".
About the "public" part of the URL i've moved the index.php in the above directory, modifying it and the lin kto fuel folders path.
