    when running migration in development environment, db.php config file from development folder is not being read, actually none is being read...please help i tried everything and cant solve problem...

    if you don't specify an environment on the commandline to oil, it should default to development, and this should work.

    You haven't hardcoded an environment anywhere? What environment does oil think it's in (run "oil -v" to check)?
