I've been messing with Fuel for a little while tonight (while watching a House marathon), and it's a really great framework. Love it!
I saw on the homepage that you plan to ship with MongoDB and CouchDB support. Just wondering if you guys have a rough timeline or roadmap for that... whether it's a "sometime this spring" or "sometime this year" thing?
Thanks, and keep up the awesome work! I'm no super-coder, but I'll keep my eye out for any ways I can contribute.
What is the status on mongodb? I really like the framework, but I need it to work with mongodb for my current project. So far I haven't seen a driver for it.
Thanks,
Coen
I'm getting the feeling from this thread that people gravitate towards mongoDB more than couchDB... Any ideas why?
I'm now playing with couchDB and started to think about how to use my models with a key-store. Is there any suggestions on best practices? Any FUEL libraries for couchDB?
Hey,
I created the CodeIgniter MongoDB library (http://lncn.eu/it3) and I've almost finished converting it into a Fuel db driver.
I hope to have it finished by Wednesday afternoon (GMT) before I go on holiday.
Cheers,
Alex
Hi everyone,
The library as it stands has the same features as the CodeIgniter driver that I wrote. I've not had time to work on it since, therefore it may or may not work in the latest build of Fuel.
Alex
Hey Alex, have you finished converting the codeigniter mongo library into a Fuel db driver. I wanted to test it out on a stats api application that I am building.
where can I get the code?
