Getting started
  • The german e-news site Golem talked about Fuel today. There was a mention that the website wanwizard.eu was developed in eight hours. I'd like to take off with Fuel, but I'm missing some Hello World example. It would be nice to see some of the best practices that were used during the developement of wanwizard.eu. Off topic: I've noticed some spelling errors as well as some logical errors in the documentation (Coding guidelines say that NULL-values should be written in lower case but the first code example of the REST controller documentation has it in upper case). How can help? Volker
  • Hey Volker, You can fork fuel or the documentation repository on GitHub and we'll be happy to accept any changes. We try to use null everywhere but I guess some must have slipped through. Do you have a link to the German article?
  • I don't have much experience with forking or github, but this seems to be a pretty good opportunity to learn. :) Here's the article: http://www.golem.de/1101/80622.html
  • Thanks for the link. The translated article seems pretty positive, even if he thought my blog was Dan's. Ha! If it's not too trouble could you leave a comment on there? One of the complaints on there is that we have no testing. Fuel has an AWESOME testing library and command line utility to match, but it is has a bug or two and is not documented just yet. It's in the works :) http://d.pr/hdrP
