Does FuelPHP currently have a functionaity to define the mimetype based on the file extension, similar to the get_mime_by_extension('file') in the file helper of CodeIgniter (http://codeigniter.com/user_guide/helpers/file_helper.html). I wasn't able to find it so far ..
