Hi Guy!
Just wondering how difficult it would be to write a simple CMS & Forum using Fuel to power this? I know lot of people having issues with the forum and the person who can sort the issues is busy with work.. why don't we all work together to create a simple CMS and forum module that can be used by fuelphp.com? (If Dan allows) which can be maintained by the community.
I know some of you have already started working on a cms project with fuelphp already.. The pyrocms used by fuelphp.com brilliant.. maybe at later stage we can clone it
I think it's a brilliant idea... what do you think? I'm pretty sure between all of us we can get this done in no time
About the CMS part, I think there are plenty of em online already
Check Phil's post about page cms.
I started on a forum, but stopped after a few hours.
FYI I'm still a rookie in fuelphp
Also, security in my script was 0/10, integrating modules wasn't possible, and it was a plain application instead of a module.
So, I'll be happy if someone made it possible, so I can see how it should be done
Already working on the forum (and a blog module) http://github.com/ninjarite.
I haven't uploaded the initial commit to the forums, but I have a really good chunk done so far. As for the blog... I'm in the process of recoding. But if you're interested in contributing after the initial commit it would be much appreciated.
