Problem with new New Api Documentation
  • @WanWizard, Just checked the new docs in Opera and could only see the left menu items when hovering. I selected an item and it showed OK then refreshed the screen and everything seemed OK. Is this problem only happening on my machine? Further selections revealed "There are 12 documentation errors in this file!" Seems OK in IE, FireFox, Safari and Chrome. Overall the new docs look really good and easy to navigate.
  • Nothing wrong here, so I don't know what happen(s/ed). As for the errors, those are documentation errors in the file you selected. As soon as authentication is functional, those messages will only be shown when you're logged in. The idea behind it is to trigger people seeing those errors to fix them, or to poke on of the developers to fix it. So we will end with more awsome documentation.
  • The joys of Technical Support :) I think the initial failure must be due to Opera not loading the CSS and JavaScript correctly most probably due to a slow connection. http://fueldepot.exite.eu/api/version/2 http://johns-jokes.com/downloads/fuelphp/fueldepot.exite.eu-api-version-2.jpg Anyway it is good to know that the new doc's work OK with your browser.
  • It loads stuff from Google, I've noticed that sometimes that is quite slow. Perhaps you've missed one of the jQuery files? If you force a reload, is it still a problem? Or was it a one-off?
  • Which version of Opera? I haven't got it installed, but I will so I can test it.
