MySQL Update Column +1

  • $sql="UPDATE table SET count = count +1 WHERE id =1;

    This is wrong

    $result = DB::update('table')
    ->value("count ",'count +1')
    ->where('id','=','1')
    ->execute();

    How can I modify

  • To prevent the query builder from escaping or quoting your expression, you have to tell it you're defining an expression, and not a literal or a column name:

    $result = DB::update('table')
    ->value("count ",DB::expr('count +1'))
    ->where('id','=','1')
    ->execute();

Howdy, Stranger!
