btw formatting buttons are not working in forum message textarea! i do not het these rest controllers. let say i have a login form. should it send user to rest controller? why is it different from the main controller?

The Controller_Rest (and Controller_Hybrid) are base controllers for making a REST API, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Representational_state_transfer
