Fuelphp 1.5.1 log error: Call to a member function log() on a non-object
  • Hi,

Is there anyway to disable log function in 1.5.1? I have been getting few issues with logs. recent one is this

Fatal error: Call to a member function log() on a non-object in /home/llllllll/public_html/bk/fuel/core/base.php on line 91

    any idea?
  • solved the issue. rerun oil command "oil refine install" and issue solves.
  • I just want to mention that the error is because of filesystem permissions - the "oil refine install" command simply fixes the filesystem permissions that caused the error.

The files that need write permission are mentioned in step #4 of the page at:
    http://fuelphp.com/docs/installation/instructions.html#manual
  • We know that. The issue is that it isn't handled properly.

Instead of just giving you the error, it breaks handling the error because that needs Log too. And this is caused by a bug in the autoloader, which I have fixed earlier today (in 1.6/develop, and backported to 1.5/develop). We're still debating whether this issue warants a 1.5.2. release.
  • I'm stuck with this bug since today, when I started to deploy my application for the first time.
A 1.5.2 release would realy be useful for me.

  • We aim to please. Check the website, online since about 2 hours. ;)
  • Great!
    Many thanks!
