Return a group of Models given an array of PK ids.

I thought this would be easier, but I can't seem to find a way to return an array of models from a query given an array of primary keys for the object. I"m sure there must be a quick solution?
I.E.
$pks = [1,2,3,4,5];
Model_MyModel::find($pks);

This is the best I could come up with. Is there a more Fuel way of doing this?
$brands = \DB::query('SELECT * FROM `brands` where id in ('.implode(',',$brand_ids).')')->as_object('Model_Brand')->execute()->as_array('id');

Model_MyModel::query()->where('id', 'IN', $pks)->get(); ?
