The readability in this forum is really bad. The text in the search field is barely visible.
Instead of
could we have a little more contrast (#333) and increase the line height a little bit (1.5):
Thanks.
I agree, it would be better. Also font-size is small and when trying to make it bigger with the browser just scales the whole page, not just the text...
The css was done by Scott Parry (iKreativ) I believe.
He is the lead designer for Fuel http://fuelphp.com/about You could try contacting him to see if you can get any changes done.
While I tend to agree with you, I'd much rather the team keep developing Core for 1.0 than fix the forum CSS. Perhaps copy the CSS file, implement the changes... post a screenshot for review. That way if they decide to go with it they can simply drop in the new code.
I believe Scotts involvement is only with this site as he is a designer not a coder so he could alter the css and upload.
There are a few small things that have been requested for the forum so maybe Scott could sort them and make the Forums more usable.
Good idea for example css nerdrescueme may help speed things along a little.
I wonder if Scott could get on board and help with support for the templating / parser stuff when it gets formally released it would be great to have a professional web designer on tap
Now where did I put that list of css issues I was having...
lol
I'm just grateful that this forum exists.
Perhaps, it's because I'm so hungry for any info I can get about Fuel...
that I don't mind it in it's present state.
In fact, I highly admire the devs for focusing on the code rather than spit and polish.

When I try out new frameworks out of curiosity, not because I have to or get paid for it, having one of the main documentation ressource in a bad shape can easely be a showstopper. If you stare on the screen the whole day and your eyes are not 26 anymore, it's not split and polish, it's usability.
Don't worry guys, it's on my todo list, it's just that my todo list is longer than my arm currently!
I'll definately make the improvements A.S.A.P
