Error on version 1.0.1 install

    I get an error when installing version 1.0.1. It seems to get his error: ErrorException [ Error ]: Call to undefined method Fuel\Core\Request::forge() Can anyone help me?

    My bad. I encountered the error when making a fresh clone not realizing the default branch is now develop not master.

    Forge is used in the dev-docs. http://fuelphp.com/dev-docs/general/views.html Does this mean we will need to replace out all use of factory?

    I just downloaded a copy of the FUELPHP (v1.1) from the site, and tried doing a simple View::forge() but I am still getting the same error? Am I using an incorrect version? or perhaps the link somehow is pointing to an old file version? Call to undefined method Fuel\Core\View::forge() Please advise, Many Thanks!

    Nevermind, I think the I downloaded for some reason the old copy... MMmmmm... weird... anyway thanks!

    The docs on docs.fuelphp.com are frozen at the time of release of 1.1, so it doesn't contain a link to download 1.1 (as that didn't exist then). We're working on a new documentation system (you can follow the development on [url=http://fueldepot.exite.eu)]http://fueldepot.exite.eu)[/url] and in the meantime you can find the up to date docs on http://fueldevdocs.exite.eu.

    I'm curious too. Has the "factory" method been renamed to "forge"?

    Are you downloading the right file? Or are you pulling the correct branch? Dan only made the changes to do with forge() instead of factory() after releasing 1.0.1 so I kinda doubt that's in the official download...

    I just searched through the entire download and did not find a single usage of "forge(" anywhere. Please provide the filename and line number of the error. Dan
