The current pagination class is under review (see http://github.com/fuel/core/issues), and will probably disappear as-is, since it is application specific, and doesn't belong in the core. Several changes were proposed to fix layout issues, which have not been accepted due to this.

Current version (1.3) styles inactive as anchors too, and has more configuration options. It should play ball with bootstrap now.
