Just joined and am interested in leaarning FuelPHP.
I have a CI app that I would like to port as a learning example, but relies on some features like CI shoping Cart class.
Will some/all CI classes be ported?

We are not a port/rewrite or anything of CI, and their license prohibits porting and releasing under MIT. So nothing is or will be ported from CI. Also a cart class is something very application specific and that really has no place in the core. Shouldn't really be in CI's either.
There is however a cart package available that was developed by one of our core devs: https://github.com/fuel-packages/fuel-cart
