Read MoreA few weeks back our site was down for most of the day, which sucked. The start of the problem was a failed deploy of an update to PyroCMS. Then all hell broke loose. We basically decided to start from scratch with a fresh install of PyroCMS v2.0 beta. Since we were starting fresh we also took the opportunity to make a hosting platform move as well.
Phil and I (Dan) were both involved in some early beta testing of Pagoda Box. I am not going to lie, it was a little rough, like any beta usually is, but we saw a lot of potential. On Nov. 1st, they completed their transition to a new infrastructure, and simply put, it is awesome. After testing out the new infrastructure I decided that I wanted to make the switch.

This is long overdue, but Version 1.1 final has landed. All the repositories have been tagged and it is available for download here.
There have been over 200 commits since RC1 and a ton of bugs got fixed. On behalf of the entire team, thank you all for your awesome testing. We initially were going to do an RC2 release, but because so many people were already using the latest bleading edge for their development (and in production in some cases), we felt comfortable enough to go ahead and release it as a final.

After a lot of work and awesome contributions, we have released FuelPHP v1.1 RC1. We skipped the beta's because we had so many people using v1.1 while it was in development, they were our beta testers.
